, helping support and strengthen local news organizations across North America through audience, revenue, and sustainability work.
Her career began as a local reporter in Vicksburg and has grown through work in newsrooms, museums, and community storytelling projects across the region. Through Amplify The Sip and The Sip Collective, Lauchlin is building a new storytelling ecosystem rooted in people, culture, and connection.
When she’s not writing or coaching, she’s usually on her front porch in Vicksburg with her wife, kids, and neighbors — swapping stories and sipping a local craft beer.
